Greeting Differently – The Day
I will never know the same sun
or moon
or river flowing
For I will be
shifted
transformed
With every new thought
idea
I will be new
when I meet you
Different still
when I lose you
I will never
be
complete
only
transformed
From a Foggy Window
What of life
if not to be
joyous
in the essence
of living
to experience
the true peace
of thrusting tides
upon a bank
or the breath of wind
carrying dandelion
across vacant meadows
to find
absolute serenity
in the act of being
and being with
those who envelop you
in the warmth of understanding
where the knowledge of you
is home
